Oh goodness do I miss the days that 64k could be called bloat.
I still do some development in visual studio 6 (first released 1999) because "hello windows" only takes about 16k, meaning that real apps can be delivered in less than 100kb. It's getting nearly impossible though, as even good old Win32 APIs have changed so much in 24 years.
